Q: How do I subscribe to The Bark?
A: Click here to order online or call our subscription customer service toll-free at 877.227.5639, or 510.704.0827 outside the United States. Subscription orders can also be mailed to The Bark, 2810 Eighth St. Berkeley, CA 94710.
Q: When will I receive my first issue?
A: Please allow 5 to 7 weeks for delivery of your first copy of The Bark.
Q: How much does a subscription cost?
A. The basic annual rate for The Bark is $18 for 6 issues (we are a bi-monthy, publishing 6 times a year). For Canada the rate is $33 U.S., and for all other countries, the rate is $38 (payable in United States funds or by a credit card drawn on a United States bank). A two-year subscription is $30 for 12 issues; and the Best Buy, three-year subscription is $38 for 18 issues.
Q: How do I give a Bark gift subscription?

Gift subscription orders can also be mailed to The Bark, 2810 Eighth St., Berkeley, CA 94710 (An order form is not necessary, simple drop us a note.)
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Q: How do I change my mailing address?
A: You can change your address online by clicking here or contact customer service by phone or mail using the information above. Please contact us at least 3-5 weeks before you need the change to take effect. Note that the post office does not forward The Bark. If you registered your change of address with the post office, they will send us your Bark magazine cover with your new address (they will discard the rest of the magazine). This is not only very costly to us and wasteful but it delays your receipt of the current issue.
Q: I receive duplicate copies. What should I do?
A: Please call our subscription customer service at 877.227.5639 or 510.704.0827 from outside the United States, or e-mail us.
RENEWAL
Q: How do I know when my subscription expires?
A: Your subscription expiration date appears on the top of your mailing label (such as Expires JAN 08) and also on your renewal notice.
Q: How do I renew my subscription?

Renewal orders can also be mailed to The Bark, 2810 Eighth St., Berkeley, CA 94710, (no form is necessary, simply drop us a note, be sure to include the correct name on the subscription and the street address).
BILLING/PAYMENT
Q: Why do I continue to receive bills after I have paid for my subscription?
A: Occasionally your payment and our invoice cross in the mail. If you continue to receive bills more than six weeks after you had sent your payment, please let us know so that we can insure that your account has been credited properly.
Q: Can I pay my invoice online?

DAMAGED ISSUES
Q: What if I received a damaged issue?
A: E-mail us or call our subscription customer service, 877.227.5639. If the issue you are looking for is sold out we'll extend your subscription to replace the damaged issue.
LATE OR MISSED ISSUES
Q: What if my issue arrives late?
A: The Bark comes out 6 times a year, approximately in mid Jan, Mar, May, July, Sept and Nov. If you have seen The Bark on the newsstand and have not yet received your copy, it's probably on its way to you.
Q: What if I have missed an issue?
A: We may have an incorrect address on file or we may have not received your invoice or renewal payments. To correct this, please click here to let us know and we'll send you the missing issue. If the issue you are looking for is sold out we'll extend your subscription to replace the missed issue.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Q: Where is my account number?
A: Your account number is located at the top of each mailing label and on the top right of your invoice statement.
PRIVACY
Q: I don't want my name made available to other companies. What should I do?
A: It is The Bark's policy to not make our subscription list available to third parties. Your name will NOT be sold to any other companies.
CANCELLATION
Q: If I cancel my subscription, will I get my money back?
A: Absolutely. If you are ever dissatisfied with The Bark, let us know, and we will refund for all unmailed issues. Please call us, write us, or just write cancel on your invoice.
