Yes, clever dog. I teared up thinking of Red's motivations: food and companionship. Food being basic of course but the need to have his friends with him-very touching. It looks like a really nice shelter and the dogs are well cared for. Yet, their needs are universal and he wanted to be with his buddies. I'm glad Red was adopted. It's always tough for me to see dogs in shelters; there are so many who need homes.
