Story
FIONA NEEDS AN ADOPTER WITH A PRIVATE BACKYARD, WITHOUT YOUNG CHILDREN OR OTHER PETS AND PREFERABLY WHO IS EXPERIENCED WITH GREAT DANES/LARGE BREEDS. Meet super sweet Princess Fiona. She is an 8-year-old Great Dane. Her family moved out of state and now she is on The Rescue Train waiting for her fairytale ending. We are looking for a FURever home for this majestic creature. She's a young 8-year old, very strong and active. Her favorite activity is playing with her ball and chasing it around. She’s very kind and gentle, as well as a couch potato who just wants to be loved and give love. Fiona has limited vision, about 20-40%, and for that reason she can be protective of herself around new people and new animals. She needs a lot of verbal cues, but once she feels safe with you, she becomes a giant love bug...and we mean GIANT! --- If you are interested in adopting FIONA please fill out our foster/adoption application by clicking this LINK. Applications are required PRIOR to meeting one of our animals and are used to set up a safe and successful adoption. Please don't be shy and answer the questions thoroughly. To learn more about our entire process please visit www.therescuetrain.org and click on the "Adopt A Dog" page. PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT OWN A FACILITY. Our animals are in private foster homes. If you are interested in adopting one of our animals please fill out our online application. Story
Baloo is a beautiful and PERFECT 5 year gentle giant, approx 90 lb, wonderful lab and great dane mix who was surrendered when his family were no longer able to care for him. The REAL Bark has placed him in a foster home and he has proven to be the best boy - gentle and loves dogs of all sizes, housetrained and bonds well with his people. He is a bit shy with new people and brand new environments, but quickly adapts once he knows everyone around him are safe havens, and always gravitates to every nice dog he sees. Because of his gentle giant size and his shyness, which sometimes transpires into nervousness, his perfect home would be one that has a great secure yard where he can romp and exercise without the regular need to walk him in around busy streets. He is very chill in the home, enjoys his people and loves being loved and wants to please. Baloo is a super big sweetheart, a perfect dog, and is ready to melt your heart!! Please note that we are currently set up to adopt within the Los Angeles county area.

Story
Text or email only for direct contact with rescuer approved for same-day adoption located in Lancaster (661)609-2186 memeco635@gmail.com Hey, everybody look out! my name is Corvette and I’m here to Make you fall in love! Im a cute little Angel who was thrown into a ladies yard in phelan California near a busy highway! She had two great Pyrenees, and they kept me warm during the horrible rainy weather that we had but she had very limited Income and couldn’t afford to keep feeding me while waiting for someone to come by and rescue me, so she reached out to my rescuer and asked if they had a room for me and she warned the rescuer that I love to eat and than fall asleep but my rescuer was up for the challenge! Her first priority was making sure I was checked by a vet and healthy before socializing with the other rescue dogs but they accepted me as part of their pack very quickly and now she’s telling me it’s time I find a home of my own! I’m a big goofball and I’m a little clumsy (as is normal for my breed) I don’t like being left alone for too long (I am as needy as a child). I would fit any family dynamic, but I cannot stress that I won’t be a little and cute for long… the first two years of my life I will be growing fast so experienced or prepared adopters are preferred.😁 I’m potty trained on puppy pads and crate trained because I’m very smart and always looking for praise! Please contact my rescuer directly and schedule a time to meet me, I will be eagerly awaiting to fall asleep in your arms!
